Soil Applied Products
Vermactant contains beneficial microbes that can be soil applied in the seed furrow over the top of your seed at planting time. Vermactant microbes will colonize the root system in such high numbers that it makes it next to impossible for pathogens to get close to the roots. FD 188 will keep the plant healthy, increase yields and allow the plant to mature properly. Apply at 4 to 6 ounces per acre in the row and 12 ounces per acre broadcast.
NutriSmart™ from CL Life Sciences is a patented bio-fertilizer that converts nitrogen from the air, and unlocks phosphate and potassium from soil. NutriSmart is ideal for use as part of a chemical fertilizer reduction program. Its use can reduce soil applications of fertilizers by up to 25%. NutriSmart dramatically reduces nutrient leaching and will improve soil biological activity. NutriSmartTM utilizes microbes that breakdown organic matter in the soil to provide a steady source of N, P and K throughout the growing season. This product will be most effective on clay soils, high organic matter soils, or soils that have had manure applications.
CROP MIX is formulated to be added to your starter fertilizer for field corn and popcorn. It contains most of the ingredients that are found in our Prudent Presto Gold Label for Corn, and it is soil applied so it can be available to the plant throughout the entire growing season. CROP MIX is added to your liquid fertilizer. It will go into solution and stay there without agitation. CROP MIX can be applied in furrow or in a 2 X 2 placement. This product, when used properly, will enhance plant health. The directions for use are as follows:
Use 32 ounces of Crop Mix per acre. At this rate one 5 gallon case will treat 10 acres. Pour the contents into your liquid fertilizer. No additional mixing or agitation is required. CROP MIX will stay in solution for an extended period of time, and will not settle out if planting is delayed.
