PRUDENT GUSTO is a unique biological seed treatment that has been proven to be very effective in maintaining plant health throughout the entire growing season. The beneficial microbes found in PRUDENT GUSTO all work synergistically in the rhizosphere and provide food for each other while at the same time return nutrients to the crop in exchange for sugar. These beneficial microbes will colonize the root system of corn, soybeans and wheat with such high numbers that pathogens present in the soil can not get close enough to the roots to damage the plant. Yield increases from using PRUDENT PRESTO have ranged from 2 to 5 bushels per acre on corn, soybeans and wheat.

Prudent ST is a seed based fertilizer that can provide the seed with many of the nutrients that are required for germination and early plant growth. Research has shown that germinating seedlings need phosphorus and other nutrients to grow well. Cool soils associated with earlier planting dates will release nutrients much slower to the seedlings. Prudent ST is compatible with most seed treatments and is very easy to use. Average yield increases from the use of this product have ranged from 1 to 5 bushels per acre. PRUDENT ST is a supplement to and not intended to be a replacement for a good fertility program.

Prudent 42CW with NUTROL when applied to the seed will prevent many fungal diseases from attacking the germinating seed and young plant. PRUDENT 42CW is systemic and it enters the seed when the seed is treated. It is a great mitigator of stress and will enable the germinating seedlings to get off to a great start. PRUDENT 42CW will stay in the plant and continue to work even after germination. The great thing about this compound is that it will not harm or interfere with the activity of beneficial microbes. Most other seed treatments, especially strobin based compounds will kill or suppress the activity of all microbes in the soil, including the beneficial microbes in the soil.

MaxGrow is a bio-accelerant that when applied to the seed will serve as food for the beneficial bacteria on the seed and in the soil. Because of its composition, MaxGrow is not a suitable food source for the harmful bacteria that are also present in the soil. When used as directed MaxGrow can “wake up” the beneficial microbes and encourage them to become established on the plant roots earlier in the growing season. MaxGrow is especially helpful when the seed is planted early when the soils are cool.

The purpose of the MicroKing seed treatment system is to encourage the growth of beneficial microbes in the rhizosphere and allow these microbes to help protect the germinating seedlings and the plants that will develop. Many seed treatments on the market today work by killing everything on the seed and in close proximity to the seed. As the effectiveness of these treatments diminishes over time, there are no beneficial microbes in place to assist the plant in defending its self from attack by pathogens. MicroKing is totally different. Five unique components are found in a MicroKing case that will treat 250 fifty pound bags of seed. The components included are Prudent Gusto, Prudent 42CW Prudent ST, MaxGrow, and a seed protectant polymer. When applied to the seed, MicroKing can facilitate the establishment of a zone of beneficial microbes around the germinating seedling while at the same time provide the nutrients plants need as they begin to grow. In testing since 2006 MicroKing has out yielded most conventional seed treatments by 3 to 5 bushels per acre.
